The Green Chemistry Campus is an initiative of SABIC, Province of North Brabant, the municipality of Bergen op Zoom and NV REWIN West Brabant. Young technology companies that focus on biobased technologies can find a place to grow and settle in against favourable conditions. 

SABIC

SABIC, from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), is one of the six top petrochemical companies in the world and is the largest company in the Middle East. SABIC is the world's largest producer of methanol, granular urea, mono-ethylene glycol, MTBE and engineering plastics. The company is also the number three in the field of polyethylene and number four in the field of polyolefins and polypropylene.

Municipality of Bergen op Zoom

The municipality of Bergen op Zoom supports the Biobased Economy with an initial amount of € 20,000 from its Economic Incentive Fund. Moreover, they have reserved € 300,000 for further development of the biobased economy.

Province of North Brabant

Entrepreneurs are essential for economic growth: they provide business and employment. The province fosters entrepreneurs and wants to create innovative environments for these enterpreneurs in order to stimulate their growth. Innovation is important as it is the engine to new business and new opportunities. Brabant welcomes companies that focus on innovation, that focus on creating new products, new processes and/or new services. The Green Chemistry Campus is one of the projects that is support by the province.

NV REWIN West Brabant

NV REWIN West-Brabant is the regional development agency for the region West Brabant. REWIN strengthens the regional economy by encouraging companies to invest in West Brabant.
